ABSTRACT
VARIETY may have the distinction of being the shortest-lived periodical in English history; certainly it is at least tied for the honor, existing only in a single weekly number—September 10, 1814. On pages 5-6 are comments on two poems, one by Byron and the other by Wordsworth.
