Byron, Poems, Original and Translated (1808); review by ?Hewson Clarke, Satirist, III (Aug. 1808), 78–86. The footnote on page 78 cites two satires on Byron and the bear he kept at Cambridge. We have been unable to identify the person mentioned in the final paragraph as Byron’s intimate friend and guide.
