ABSTRACT

LITERARY JOURNAL, and General Miscellany of Politics, Science, Arts, Morals, and Manners (March 29, 1818 — May 8, 1819) was a Sunday London weekly. The identical text apparently appeared during part of 1818 on different dates (that is, issued on a different day of the week) under the title Literary Chronicle and General Miscellany of Science, Arts [etc.]. Whatever advantage this double identity was supposed to have, both titles were extinct within a little more than a year. During this period there appeared three articles on Byron and a review of Keats’s Endymion.
