The reviewer, who seems to have been acquainted in the Hunt-Hazlitt circle, incorrectly identifies Hunt as the author of Byron’s Blues (while recognizing its Byronic features) and Hazlitt as the author of the essay on Apuleius contributed by Shelley’s college friend Thomas; Jefferson Hogg.
