ABSTRACT

This section is concerned with aspects of psychology that are related to biology. Research in this area overlaps with many of the biological sciences, including ecology (the study of the relationship between organisms and their environments), ethology (the study of behaviour in natural habitats), evolu­ tionary biology, genetics, neurophysiology (the study of the functions of the nervous system), molecular biology, pharmacology (the study of drugs), sociobiology (the study of the biological bases of social behaviour), and zoology.
