ABSTRACT
The group screen is the key starting point for most therapy groups. This chapter will lay out conditions for optimal screening that will benefit the client/patient and for more effective group outcomes for all members. The reader will have a useful resource from the chapter that can be revisited as needed whether conducting your first or twentieth pre-group meeting.
