You are a high school counselor reviewing student surveys that were collected from 10th-and 11th-grade students, which indicate that 85 percent of the students in these grades plan to attend a 4-year college. However, an analysis of 10th- and 11th-grade academic performance records reveals that only 35 percent currently have the academic standing needed to get into college.
