ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book presents the comprehensive overview of Organizational Transactional Analysis together. It highlights the need for congruence between philosophy, values, goals and behaviour, without which trust will not develop. The area of purpose and identity is put in the centre of the model as this is the first area of concern when one decides to go into business and during its development. In summary, the benefit of using Organizational Transactional Analysis as the method of approach is that, being a social psychology, it can look at individual as well as the organizational interventions and can enhance congruency between the organizational values and philosophy, processes and systems, and the behaviours of the people. Having considered the 3-D and Organizational Web models one can start to apply the Transactional Analysis concepts outlined in the book and decide which are relevant as interventions to develop the organization.
