ABSTRACT
Once “notice to proceed” has been given to the EPC contractor, the sponsor would be ill-advised to go back to its office to await a phone call from the EPC contractor announcing the project’s completion. Constant vigilance by the sponsor is required throughout the design and construction of the project.
