ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the employees in the project role of systems and software tester may experience less effect on their trust of team members in other project roles when working in a virtual team setting. It designs to seek evidence as to whether team members working in the role of tester may experience a level of trust that is different than that experienced by team members working in other roles. The chapter looks at cognitive based trust, it has a different picture of the trust response as compared to a relatively mild response to personality based trust regarding the elements of virtuality. Leadership roles at all levels of the organization often struggle as they seek to discover information that helps in decision making and orientation to the progress and cadence of the project. Project managers and analysts have the ability to influence a positive or negative outcome when it comes to project success.
