ABSTRACT

The method for the investigation of the causality surrounding incidents of fratricide was utilised to explore an incident of fratricide and the resulting analysis highlighted the ability of Event Analysis of Systemic Teamwork to meet all of the criteria put forward. The methodology aligns with the theoretical stance of this research and its multiple methods map onto each of the five factors of the F3 model, allowing explicit investigation of each factor. The thematic analysis derived from Leximancer enables an exploration of the prominent schemata present within the more effective and less effective teams. A graphical exploration of the models illustrates a greater number and frequency of links within the more effective positive model compared to the less effective positive model, and a greater number and frequency of links in the less effective negative model compared to the more effective negative model.
