ABSTRACT
Global mobility has generated a rise in populations of mixed heritage worldwide (Lee & Bean 2010). Growth in permanent and temporary migration, travel for education or tourism, and even international communication opportunities have generated greater opportunities for racial mixing. While there are no global statistics tracking these changes, fundamental changes in societal composition and identity are inevitable.
