ABSTRACT

In this book so far, we have focused on what on the knowledge base for Occupational Psychology and the general approaches and values that Occupational Psychologists take to their work. In this Chapter, we answer a key question that you are likely to have, having read this far – what do Occupational Psychologists do? We mean here, what are the key jobs, activities, practice areas and tasks that OPs work on day-to-day and through their careers. The objective of this Chapter is to provide an overview and some examples, in the key areas of practice of OPs.
