There are different ways to set up math workstation schedules. Some teachers use students' pictures. Other teachers use Velcro or magnetized pictures; these are easy to move around. While others just write the schedule on the whiteboard. Make schedules that are student friendly. Make sure that students have access to resources that help them do the math. Anchor charts can be a great extra teacher's helper in the classroom. Always think about and plan for reflection. It is important that students think about the activities that they did, what they learned well, and what they are still struggling with.
