Good examination practice and revision
With proper preparation everyone has the ability to pass any inspection and testing assessment. Modern inspection and testing exams can take three different forms: on-line multiple-choice, on-line short answer, and written. In the past the inspection and testing examination was a formal written exam, where the candidate was given a question paper and had to write the answers out long hand in an answer booklet made up of sheets of lined paper. On-line assessments have the advantage of a more structured format and turnaround times are now down to a matter of days. Although on-line assessments do add a degree of difficulty for those with limited IT skills, generally they are seen as a much easier option when compared with the old written exams. The contents of all practical assessments follow the same format. Often candidates use their own home or build a test rig to allow them to practise.
