ABSTRACT
Global society is currently confronted with colossal social and environmental crises that appear to be irresolvable by our present social and political system. The warming of the earth’s atmosphere by the rapid, uncontrolled, and escalating injection of human-created CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and the increase in poverty and inequality in the social and economic system are destabilizing the natural and social world.
