ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the three ways someone establish their Motivational Map profile. The three methods are: Motivational Card Game; Motivational Quick Technique; and Motivational Map online. The first way is the Motivational Card Game, and this is simple. It was developed by the Motivational Maps’ Practitioner, Howard Rose. Simply create a card, like a playing card, for each of the nine motivators. The Motivational Quick Technique is ideal for coaches and managers who are working one-to-one with people, and who wish to get some sort of ‘fix’ on what is motivating them. The single most important and accurate way to establish someone’s motivational profile: completing a Motivational Map online. This takes about 10-15 minutes to do and generates a 15-page report outlining their motivators and how motivated they are. It also gives they important ideas – reward strategies – on how to motivate themselves further or to sustain motivation.
