ABSTRACT
For many of us, understanding culture in organisations is akin to resolving a difficult riddle or puzzle. So in writing this chapter we were reminded of a childhood riddle, which goes like this:
Question: ‘The more you have of it, the less you see. What is it?’
Answer: ‘Darkness’.
