ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on practices to help mentoring coordinator improve their mentoring initiatives. It draws on psychology to suggest how changes might be made with small, incremental changes and an abundance perspective. Mentoring programs exist as part of an organizational strategy to achieve organizational goals. Thus, mentoring programs are one way that organizations promote organizational learning to facilitate individual and organizational change. The chapter aims to help mentoring coordinator think about how they can improve their mentoring program for the better. It discusses answers to some questions. The chapter also focuses on how to improve mentoring coordinators; mentoring program by making small, frequent changes. It presents the benefits of establishing an advisory committee for mentoring coordinators' mentoring program, including giving mentoring coordinator a broader perspective on the program's activities and future. Mentoring relationships can provide transformative experiences for participants and contribute to a positive culture of organizational learning.
