This provides the sponsor with an indication of the level of maturity of their organisation. This is an indication of how good your estimating capability is. It will indicate and assess the quality and consistency of cost engineering implementation in the organisation. It will also provide understanding of the effectiveness of cost engineering and its impacts across the enterprise and on the interactions between customer and supplier.
