ABSTRACT
This chapter examines some of the findings in order to reflect on how Brazilian Air Force University (UNIFA) graduate courses provide rigour and scientific consistency to the studies and research carried out on the UNIFA campus. Graduate courses in military schools are emerging as UNIFA courses have recently been included in the National Postgraduate System. UNIFA has been building and structuring the science that is its subject matter through its graduate programme in line with the times and with the latest trends. This military university in the Air Force Command is training professionals to understand and interact with the most diverse areas of knowledge, contributing to the expansion and strengthening of Aerospace Power focused on defence and security. Defence and security are two concepts that are closely tied to military activities in Brazil, since they are attributed to the defense of the country and the assurance of the constitutional powers of law and order.
