Delegation and Accountability
Delegation within the project context refers to delegating overall responsibility for the delivery of a work package (WP), a product or a specific result. This requires the person to whom the work is delegated to make their own judgement and decision as to the most appropriate tasks and activities to realise the delivery successfully. Delegation in this context does not mean assigning responsibility for a defined task or activity. Defining the tasks and activities for a delegated matter is the responsibility of the person doing the work.
