ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines how the Modified and Extended Generic Cyber Security Management Model (MEGCSMM) and strategic management framework were produced. It explains a strategic security framework and impact analysis. The chapter gives attention to corporate governance linked with the SATELLITE Model produced by Trim. Reference is made to what a learning organization represents and the subject of project liaison team management. Solving real-world problems is complex and requires a multi-disciplinary approach. Hence risk managers need to know how to use the security and intelligence models that are in existence, or being developed, and refocus their efforts so that cyber security is the centre of attention. Senior managers can devise a MEGCSMM that ensures that the issues relating to cloud computing and cyber security are given the attention needed in order to put in place a counter-intelligence operation to thwart cyber attacks. The GISES (Global Intelligence and Security Environmental Sustainability) model assists managers to develop security-intelligence interface and hybrid security culture.
