ABSTRACT

One of the major drivers quite common to the region at large can be found in the increasing importance of logistics and supply chain management. East Asia is increasingly becoming one of the most important industrial and financial locations in the global economy. The term peri-urbanization is used to describe a process where rural areas located on the outer edge of established cities take on the characteristics of an urban community. The development of peri-urbanization is reflective of the importance of spatial and economic geography on international airport development. East and Southeast Asia as a physical location refers directly to the countries that stretch from the Korean Peninsula to Indonesia. The evolution of multinational firms, often through the processes of takeover and merger, has created network structures where design, production, distribution and sales can be carried out in a number of varieties of countries.
