ABSTRACT
The finish line for this research monograph is to have described our 15-year journey into the human factors of vehicle feedback, linked it to the concept of driver situation awareness, and at all times tried to relate the findings from theory to practice. To that end descriptions of pertinent SA methods and a full Goal-Directed Task Analysis for generating SA requirements have been lodged in the Appendix for others to use and modify as they see fit.
