ABSTRACT
There are a number of strategies which can be employed to aid human performance in tracking tasks, and whether by design or evolution, vehicle feedback provides many of these aids. They will be dealt with in more detail in the sections that follow. For the time being, rate control and vehicle feedback provide an explanation for how an ostensibly complex mechanical system such as a car can be controlled so easily by such a diverse population of drivers.
