ABSTRACT

The electronic systems that are available to support negotiations today manage to facilitate the negotiation process by enhancing the capabilities of systems for information storing, processing, and transferring while imposing on communication bandwidth. Technology-mediated communication has evolved over the last few decades with the advent of the Internet to a powerhouse where data are transferred at high speeds in sophisticated ways. Learning and being familiar with current and future trends requires patience as there will be a learning curve with new technologies and formats. In an attempt to simulate human intelligence, a major branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) moved in the direction to actually simulate neuron behavior and function. Given that neurons are the basic units of our brains that carry and process electrical signals from the senses, an obvious way to replicate some aspects of intelligence would be to simulate these units and, by combining them, achieve some of the functionality of the human brain.
