NEW HOTEL BUILDING / A $75,000 Block to Be Begun / Here Immediately / BUILT BY A CHICAGO CAPITALIST / To Be Called Yesler Avenue Hotel, at / the Corner of Yesler and Fifth / – Plans Now Ready.

A large six-story hotel is about to be added to the long list of attractive buildings in Seattle, and the work of construction will begin immediately. It will be called the Yesler Avenue hotel and is to be erected by C.P. Dose of Chicago, who is the owner of considerable real estate here and enthusiastic over the city’s prospects. His representative, Charles H[erbert] Bebb, architect and engineer, is now in the city and will superintend the construction of the building, which will cost in the neighborhood of $75,000.
