Andyesterday,the22ndofthismonth,therecameintothisport avesseloutof(p.2)PuertodePlatathemasterofwhichtoldPedro MenendezMarquezandmethatfivelargevesselshadarrivedat PuertodePlata.Ofthesefive,onewasagreatgalleasse.Hesaysthat thepersonwhosailsinthisgalleasseistreatedasapersonof authority,withgreatrespectanddisplayofsilverplate,anditwas rumouredandstatedthatheisDonAntonio.Hesaysthesevessels calledattheportofLaIsabelainthatislandandasransomdemandedmares,horses,hornedcattleandsheep,bitsandsaddles, andthatonboardthegalleassetheyhadhorseswhichheunderstood theyhadobtainedinPuertodePlata.
