ABSTRACT

De Ludo Globi or The Reason of the Sphere is about Gunnar Olsson's Geography. And chapter paper is exactly an exercise in transition from the language of Geography to the silent language of friendship. Thanks to the philosophy of this game, it is possible to show that the movement of the sphere can be modified by constant practice, up to the point in which this acquires a straight trajectory. The players should be far away from the sphere, they should be positioned outside of the game, so that they cannot control it. Sphere and map also presuppose two other aspects: the subjective consciousness of the player, and the subject of the projection respectively. Lacan, as it is well known, recognizes the identity between the subject of psychoanalysis and the Cartesian subject of modernity, the same one that systematically describes projective geographic knowledge.
