ABSTRACT

This final chapter examines a few of the ways in which people considering career development through training and education can seek education and training to achieve a project management qualification. It is clear that there are many possible paths. Notwithstanding what is written in the provocative Chapter 60, it is clear that those who have attained professional recognition through accreditation are at a distinct advantage over those who have not, particularly when seeking a new post. It is clear also from the exhibits in Chapter 45 that those with qualifications can, on balance, expect to earn more than those who do not (see for example Figures 45.6 and 45.7).
