ABSTRACT

In times of crisis and financial uncertainty, such a measure is useful for demonstrating the transformative and essential work that is being undertaken. Such a measure also provides an opportunity to examine the collective benefits and value of digital resources at a national level, leveraging the wealth of digitized content to demonstrate the impact and benefits of this transformative digitization work and providing arguments for the contribution made to the UK’s knowledge economy by the academics, teachers and users who create and exploit them.
