Disqualification from a Profession or an Office: Nature and Actual Practice

When a convicted person is disqualified from a profession or is removed from office, this means that this person is not admitted for a certain period to practice his profession or hold his office. Disqualifications are imposed in situations in which the convicted perpetrator has committed an offense during the execution of his profession or office. It may then be considered as desirable by a criminal court that the offender does not perform this occupation for a certain period of time.
