ABSTRACT

The integral inclusivity framework described in Chapter 2 was implemented in Absa Brokers in 2002. The story of this transformation was told in the form of a case study in Chapter 11. Six years after the implementation of this strategy a study was done to determine the sustainability of the approach. In this chapter the results of this inquiry are presented. Different sets of pre- and post-intervention data are available, such as Emotional Intelligence (EQi) scores, climate study results and financial results. Digital information can also tell a story by means of graphs, tables and trends. Six years after the original interventions, interviews were conducted with four of the original provincial leaders with the purpose of understanding the role of leadership and the concept of inclusivity during transformation as viewed by senior managers who had been part of the inclusivity transformational strategy. These results are shared below.
