ABSTRACT

This chapter serves as guide to identifying these risks and ensuring your tangible and intangible assets are properly allocated in a global business market. From leadership to key suppliers and vendors to new employees, integrity needs to exist in the individual in order for it to exist in the company and, in turn, in the global market. The more difficult answer to comprehend is that integrity and ethical behavior in the global business community is becoming incentivized. The system is regulating itself due to the intensification of the social media and the ability to communicate faster, and with a wider audience, in a globalized world. Companies and their professionals are becoming aware that having robust, internal compliance programs are not only good for their own company, but also enhances the global business community as a whole. That is, compliance programs are attached and inevitably affect each other in a globalized world.
