ABSTRACT

Initially, the empirical research was directed towards virtual spaces for information sharing, selecting content that allows writers to recount their own tourism experiences. According to our findings, the most popular platforms were blogs and websites, where authors chose to publish or update their experiences in the form of travelogues. These travel experiences were then collected over a period of two years, from 2010 to 2012. The texts of these diaries were first analysed by isolating the terms most frequently processed. Then a more detailed analysis of the collected texts was conducted using the software T-Lab (Lancia, 2004).
