ABSTRACT

There is a nascent movement among American law schools to introduce leadership studies into the curriculum (Polden 2008, Rhode and Packel 2011). This is not surprising; more than a decade ago, business schools had undertaken a similar movement, making it a hallmark of their teaching and curriculum (Doh 2003: 57). Undergraduate schools have also focused attention on leadership studies, advertising curricular offerings that are designed to set their students apart from others.2
