ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book gives a final evaluation of the results and their further implications. It points out which aspects of the research topic raised need more in-depth research in the future, so as to broaden and deepen these very insights. The book generates a broader picture of the relevance of the leadership and organizational structures developed. The organizational design favoured has to support the leadership style described and be in line with the characteristics of this Professional Culture. The book shows national and organizational diversity and, the diversity within the workforce deemed necessary achieved by focusing on the aviation industry. The deviations from current mainstream convictions regarding leadership and organization become more pronounced when moving away from the population usually surveyed in leadership and organization research. The population usually surveyed is located in the upper-middle to upper echelons of the organizations being surveyed.
