ABSTRACT
Information systems to support Lean and Digitize are important and use of suitable tools is vital for the success of a project. Information systems can provide data and documents, analysis and simulations. Use of information communication and technology (ICT) is important for both the design and the operation of the process, for project management and in supporting the work of the team and operational units. There should be interconnections between the method and the management of information of the project. Business-oriented architecture (BOA) may be considered as the last evolutionary step of automation and information systems and a great support for Lean and Digitize projects. ICT can facilitate the construction of prototypes on information systems of the new process in two ways: using the CASE systems, which allow the immediate translation of models in applications, albeit simplified and with high-level languages, which with relatively few instructions allow the team to create prototype applications.
