ABSTRACT

The ability to leverage the experience of successful R&D project players proved highly attractive both as a competitive issue and also to improve profit margins. The following case studies provide insights from organisations that are achieving success in their business performance and new product development through effective project management approaches in delivering R&D initiatives. The objective of including these case examples is to offer a set of proven good practices through which a student or a practitioner can obtain a better insight into the application of tools and techniques and appreciate how organisations have adopted their approach.
