The chapter aims at investigating how issues relating to ethnicity are made relevant in the daily work in the newsroom and are understood by the journalists themselves. The newsroom is known to be among NRK's most important multicultural arenas, mainly due to the relatively diverse composition of the workforce, and it has established good practices rules in the newsroom when it comes to diversity awareness. Tove expresses that having Hisham in the newsroom does a lot to make the colleagues more conscious and sensitive regarding multicultural issues. The students were also asked if they agree with the statement Journalists contribute to the confirmation of prejudice against ethnic minorities.
