ABSTRACT

The relevance of studying the processes of China's accession to the WTO is stipulated by the fact that China joined the WTO on conditions similar to those in Russia. Negotiations with the USA and the European Union on China's accession to WTO were strenuous. China managed to achieve WTO accession as a developing country; hence, it received a more favorable accession mode. In order to enhance international economic cooperation and technical exchange with foreign countries, in 1979 the second session of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the Fifth Convocation of July 1, 1979, adopted the Law of the PRC on Chinese-Foreign Equity Joint Ventures. China's negotiations with the USA and the US resumed after a six-month break caused by the NATO's bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade in May of 1999. China's economic strategy and tactics in industrial policies have allowed it to take first place in the total number of industrial enterprises in 2015.
