ABSTRACT
John R. Bowen: In 2015, at the request of Marie-Claire Foblets, Jean Baubérot and I set out to write an essay on the work of the Stasi Commission in France. We decided to try a novel method of working: we would engage in a dialogue on the subject, treating a number of aspects of the commission’s work, roughly in chronological order.
