ABSTRACT

The modern firm known as Kodak evolved from the Eastman Kodak Company, which was established in 1892 and made photography available to everyone using film in rolls for the first time. George Eastman pioneered the creation of profit-sharing systems for employees, as well as retirement, disability and insurance benefits. The Oxford Group has always embraced the latest technology to support its learning solutions, but has sought to apply it intelligently and creatively, driven primarily by learning objectives, never by technology itself. Its approach to potential of e-learning is based on the following assumptions: tailoring the learning experience to each person's unique learning style is biggest single e-learning challenge, to be effective, e-learning should exploit technology that is widely available rather than technology which is clever. The purpose of this self-assessment is to help learners to decide what level of support they need to successfully implement Kodak's new, global, standardized Performance Assessment (PA) process and Performance Management (PM) in general.
