ABSTRACT
While the idea of equality between people has deep philosophical roots in Judaism, 1 the notion of religious tolerance seems problematic. If you know that truth lies with you, why should you tolerate contrary teachings? Why should you sanction the freedom to practice a religion that you know is false?
