ABSTRACT
This book has presented a snapshot of rural policing at the start of the 21st century. Drawing from geography and criminology, it has used a range of theoretical perspectives and empirical examples to examine the policing of rural space across different scales and countries. A number of key themes have emerged from this analysis that have shaped, and will continue to shape, the future of rural policing.
