ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses modeling goals and context. It provides a viewpoint rarely seen in strategy and IT documentation, a picture of the goal business context. The chapter also provides an interesting and relatively straightforward way to do analysis beyond tables and spreadsheets. There's often a lot of design notation such as how software may work, and there are business process models and even business models that are relatively graphical. There is lots of literature in the academic world on goal modeling that is pretty dense and complex to follow. Capability to supply European Union (EU) market implies that Potato Grow need to put processes and procedures in place in order to efficiently support the EU market. Given we have identified a strategy of Establish high-quality efficient sales process we can reasonably argue that this strategy would in part effectively support the achievement of Goa.
