ABSTRACT

Airline sustainable strategies discuss issues and exchange information regarding all aspects of airline operations, including the origination and history, regulation and deregulation, facilities, aircraft types, and age and environmental effects. Sustainable development in both public and private sectors has brought many challenges to management, since the sustainable development concept is variously defined by different authors. The public and private sectors started facing these challenges as a result of the development of company policies on such issues as gender equity, occupational health and safety, and results-based management. Sustainable development entails the integrated processes of leadership, planning, implementation, monitoring, and review. Finnair sustainability measures account for the financial, social, and environmental sustainability of their enterprise. Finnair's objective is to make sure that it creates sustainable economic value to the economy and business by operating flight services more profitably and cost-competitively, and meeting the needs of the environment and society. The airline engages in an ethical, sustainable business through its views and perspectives.
