ABSTRACT
A theme of this book is adaptation, that is, how should an organization adapt the SE process to make it both effective and affordable. Hence this book can be seen as more of a how and a why book, rather than a what book. The first part focuses on the adaptation process and the importance of risk in that adaptation. The second part shows how an existing organization can be adapted to incorporate SE.
