ABSTRACT
Christy Anderson is an architectural historian at the University of Toronto with interest in the connections between contemporary practice and historical buildings. Her books have explored architecture and literacy in early modern England, architectural photography at the Warburg Institute, and the European history of Renaissance buildings. She is currently working on how early modern architects came to know the history of the natural world and the character of materials.
